Importance on How Children Learn

No two children learn in the exact same way, but as a rule of thumb all children learn best through their five senses. Hands-on experiences allow children to learn by directly interacting with their environment. There’s a great Chinese proverb that comes to mind when discussing the way that children learn: “Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand.”

Importance of Four Focused Areas to Build the Curriculum

Curriculum is not just a lesson plan, field trip, or project. Curriculum is fluid: It moves with the children’s interests and needs. Curriculum as an “organized framework” has four areas of focus:

  •  Content which is what the children should learn
  •  Teachers who use the knowledge of child development program to dictate the content and process
  •  Process which is how and when they learn
  •  The context which is why certain projects and activities are chosen and which.

Importance of a curriculum Beyond Numbers and Letters

Definition of literacy is beyond Numbers and Letters. The learning system today seems to revolve around the holy grails of math and reading achievement. Schools are held accountable and graded by students’ test scores, and more and more classroom time is dedicated to drilling square roots and vocabulary, even as art and music programs fall by the wayside and recess is dismissed as unnecessary “play time.”

In the midst of these pressures, child’s behavior problems have left parents and educators wondering if perhaps our educational system has missed something in its one-dimensional pursuit of academic excellence. Research shows, A wholesome early learning program that includes all of the domains of physical, social, emotional, cognitive, language and literacy experiences, are linked with academic achievement in school and higher education.

Importance of Famiy Involvement is a part of our Curriculum

If you consider KidzCareHub as your family member and when we know the setup and the activities of each child’s family, we shall better able to cater to your needs. A child is the most amazing blessing to a parent in the world, and they work hard—possibly even struggle—to provide for that child every single day. We care to view the world through the eyes of a parent and so it becomes easier for us to strive to distribute our energy between not only the needs of the child, but those of the parents as well. Our common goal is focusing on what is best for the child.
